OUR SCHOOL

Happy Valley Art School is a welcoming studio dedicated to nurturing creativity and artistic growth for students ages 5–18. Our mission is to help young artists explore their creativity, build strong artistic foundations, and develop confidence through meaningful art experiences.
We offer a structured yet inspiring curriculum that guides students from early creative exploration to advanced artistic development. Our programs include Creative Art Exploration for younger students, fundamental drawing and painting training, and portfolio development for students preparing for art school, college applications, and competitions. At Happy Valley Art School, we believe every student has a unique voice. Through drawing, painting, and mixed media projects, students learn not only technical skills such as observation, composition, color theory, and design principles, but also how to express their ideas, experiences, and perspectives through art.
Our studio emphasizes thoughtful instruction, individualized guidance, and a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to experiment, take creative risks, and refine their skills. Whether students are discovering art for the first time or building a competitive portfolio, our goal is to help each student grow artistically while enjoying the creative process. Many of our students have developed strong portfolios for AP Art, college applications, and art competitions, while younger students gain confidence, imagination, and visual problem-solving skills that benefit them across disciplines.
Happy Valley Art School is proud to be part of the local community, providing a space where creativity is valued, ideas are explored, and young artists can thrive.
